Welcome to the Safe & Secure Lancaster Disc system
Safe and Secure Lancaster is an initiative managed by Lancaster Business Improvement District (BID) to help reduce levels of crime and antisocial behavious in Lancaster city centre.
Lancaster BID exists to support city centre businesses and to promote and improve the city in order to attract increased footfall. Safe and Secure if one of our key priority goals.
The initiative will facilitate businesses to share information on offenders and to identify the most prolific to support a system of benning orders to be implemented.
Lancaster BID also contracts a BID Warden to provide a visible presence on the street. Data gathered will be used by the BID Warden to help monitor where resources can be most effectevely targetted.
