What is DISC?
DISC is a Security Intelligence Network, a secure information-sharing system connecting businesses, retail, security, operational staff and police, in the town centre together to share intelligence and compile evidence about known offenders.
It can be used on your desktop or by using a smartphone app. DISC enables members to submit incident and intelligence reports about low level crime and anti-social behaviour in your area; view a database of ‘know’ and ‘unknown’ offenders and view summaries or reports that have been submitted about them by other members.
Members will receive a eNewsletter each Thursday with all the latest updates from your DISC System.
It’s aim is to;
Reduce low-level business crime and Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) within local areas.
- Manage banning schemes efficiently and compliantly.
- Enhance security current-awareness.
- Increase engagement levels
- Communicate effectively with Members
- Link to police and other DISC users.
